Customer Service Representative In Agawam, Massachusetts, United States

American Pest Solutions is a family-owned and operated business, protecting the health and property of homes and businesses throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut for more than 100 years. Responsibilities include helping prospective and current customers with purchasing and scheduling our full-service pest control services. They also reach out to customers to check satisfaction and invite them to review our services.

Our next great customer service team member must have excellent telephone communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills. Friendly assertiveness and a steady demeanor will help drive your success. We offer a $18 to $20 hourly wage commensurate with experience plus health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, and a retirement savings plan.

NO SATURDAYS (okay, maybe a couple per year)!

We also have a beautiful work environment in Agawam with plenty of free parking. We require 2+ years of customer service experience in a home services company (e.g., pest control, lawn care, HVAC, insulation, carpet cleaning, handyman, electrical, or any other related industry). Our successful candidate must have excellent skills using MS Word and MS Excel.

Our technicians are experts in pest management and we see to that with great and regular training, including time with leading industry experts.

We provide a strong hourly wage commensurate with experience ($18 to $20 per hour), as well as sales commissions from leads and cross-sales, and a year-end discretionary bonus. American Pest Solutions also provides a company service vehicle (for work use only), uniforms, paid vacation, paid personal days, paid holidays, retirement savings plan, and health insurance.

The typical work schedule is 7:30 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday plus some Saturday mornings. You must be able to pass the tests required to obtain state-issued pest control credentials. Our on-staff Entomologist will provide the training needed to prepare you for the tests.
