What does it mean to go green? The concept of green pest control is simple. The goal is to target harmful and invasive pests, without doing harm to non-target pests or the environment. This is a job we take very seriously. Here are some of the ways we do it.

What makes your home or business attractive to you, isn't necessarily what makes it attractive to pests. Insects, rodents and wild animals are looking for usable food, water, and shelter options. If you have open trash, you'll draw them in. If you have obstructed gutters that are allowing water to accumulate near your exterior walls, they'll come in for a drink. There are many ways your property can attract pests. Green pest control uses an understanding of entomology to resist pests.

No matter how attractive your property is, you're still going to get unwelcomed guests. That is why it is important to put out the unwelcome mat. Sealing exterior walls and utilizing exclusion methods, will let those pests know they are not welcome. These methods do no harm to the invading creatures. There is nothing greener than that.

Sometimes, our technicians use biological means to solve pest problems. Bioremediation uses microorganisms to get rid of breeding sites and the bugs breeding in them. Once they do their job, they are simply washed away.

Use The Right Tool For The Job

Some of the products we use are designed to directly target a specific pest, while not harming any other creatures in the process. It may be an agent that causes the jaws of worker termites to seize up, so they starve to death. This only affects termite workers and the colony those workers are feeding.

Governmentally Safe

Sometimes there is no option but to use chemicals to stop pests. Green pest control focuses on using the least amount of EPA-approved product necessary to get the job done. And, these products are applied in a way that ensures that the environment will not be contaminated and that everyone living in the structure is completely safe.

At the end of the day, green pest control is working smarter, not harder. We don't believe that spraying chemicals everywhere is the best way to solve pest problems. Our emphasis is on educating our team to better understand the pests we control so that measures can be targeted and effective.
